There are no specific yardage requirements. The shawl that was knit in the photos were made using the following colors and total grams needed to finish the sample shawl.

525 g kauni effect yarn all together

150 g kk1 (solid yellow)
350 g EX (red/orange/violet/green)
25 g remains (EQ and EG9

It will be desirable to have some extra yarn to have possibility to choose among colours. If you have remains of other colours you may use them as well.
Double pointed needles 3.5 mm. Circular needle 3.5 mm. (Start with 40 cm and end up with 120 or 150 cm) Circular needle 3 mm for the edge and a needle 2.5 mm for the picot edge.
