Twisted Tweed Socks
by Schrodinger
This pattern was inspired by Sandra’s Charades, as well as the fact that the RPM pattern looks pretty cool with trekking xxl. So this stitch pattern was discovered, and the twisted tweed socks were born.
As written, the pattern would be for a medium to large (read - wide) foot, I would strongly recommend casting on 6 less stitches if you have a smaller foot/narrow ankles.
NB: The stitch pattern has a different row gauge than stockinette stitch, so you will see that the bottom of the foot will look a little baggy, this is easily remedied by blocking, or simply wearing. Because, fortunately, our feet are not perfectly flat :)
