One skein of each color will make a pair of mittens and the hat, with plenty of yarn to spare
- US 3 / 3.25 mm needles for small circumference knitting+

34 sts x 36 rows = 4” / 10 cm in colorwork motif on larger needles. Wash and lay flat to dry before checking gauge
