Sometimes the simplest designs are the most satisfying to work on—they give you more room to play, to experiment with the basics and turn them into something special. And so it is with Urraca—at its heart a simple raglan tee for warm weather, a few unique details elevate it to a standout piece for summer. Graduated stripes at the yoke are dotted with eyelets along the raglan lines. The eyelets are carried down the sides, leading to a split hem, which is repeated on the cuffs. And Magpie Fibers’ new yarn, Solstice, blends wool, cotton and silk in a soft, comfortable yarn that adds texture and depth. Say hello to your new favorite tee!
