The Ushu socks are knitted in the round on double-pointed needles from the cuff down to the toe. If you prefer the Magic Loop technique, you can use a circular needle. The socks feature a double cuff, first knitted in stockinette stitch and then in pattern stitch.
The heel is shaped using increases and short rows, where I have used the GSR (German Short Rows) technique. The toe decreases are made on the sides and then sewn together at the end using the Kitchener stitch.
