This v-neck cardigan comes in two versions: short-sleeved or long-sleeved. Both are knitted flat in one piece, top down.

The sleeves on the short-sleeved verson are shaped with short rows. This version has no seaming.

The long-sleeved version is knitted with a minimum of seaming, just the underarm seams.

Both were designed especially to fit American Girl mini dolls and Lori dolls, but they will also fit other similarly sized dolls.

The cardigan is knitted in fingering weight yarn. You just need 25-30 yards, so this is a good use for those little balls you’ve probably been collecting.

I put the gauge in, but I wouldn’t worry too much about it. At this size it’s easier to just start and see if it will fit your doll rather than knit a gauge square.
