The Verona Shawl is lightweight and delicate but when made with merino or alpaca yarn can also be beautifully warm. The pattern is generally quite open but has a couple of denser bands across it featuring a cross stitch detail. The pattern is written in one colour but a contrast colour could be used for the band sections.

The shawl is triangle shape crocheted from one end to the other, increasing to the point of the triangle in the centre and then decreasing to the other end.

Hook: 3.5mm (4ply) or 4mm (3ply)
