A lace pattern reminiscent of raindrops on a window, delicately cabled raglans, deeply cabled cuffs -- this pullover is not a mindless knit, but will reward your craftsmanship with a beautiful, flattering garment.

Mirrored cables run along the sides and split apart before the underarm to create faux gussets on the body and sleeves. Cables then exchange partners -- one from the body joining up with one from the sleeve -- and they continue up along the raglan lines.

This is a bottom up, seamless raglan with a lace front and stockinette everywhere else. The raglans themselves have a compound shape, so that they mould to the body. Princess line shaping occurs along the back only -- there is no shaping on the front, so as not to distort the lace pattern.

Gauge
29 sts and 42 rows per 10cm/4in, over stockinette in the round.

Needles and Notions

• 3.0mm/US3 circular needle, or whichever size gets pattern gauge, 60cm/24in long;
• Double point needles or extra long circular needle in same size as above for small circumferences (sleeves and neck finishing);
• Cable needle (optional, if you can cable without it);
• Tapestry needle for seaming underarms and neck ribbing;
• Scrap yarn or stitch holders;
• Two stitch markers to mark EoR and other side ‘seam’;
• Two other stitch markers to mark shaping lines on back

Pattern Information
To improve readability and avoid long strings of numbers for all sizes in the pattern, letters are given instead. Knitters should refer to a chart in the pattern and write down the number for their size corresponding to that letter.
