Love cute animal themed toques? Check out the Hoot Toque & the Twiga Toque! Soon to be added are the Hamster Toque & the Bunny Toque…

Worked seamlessly, from the top down, in stockinette stitch, this little hat can be knit up rather quickly! Once the crown is complete, the remainder of the toque is worked seamlessly and in intarsia; a fun technique to try. Front and back brims are worked in twisted rib for a snug fit and the earflaps or “wings” are made to cover the ears. I-cord ties with pom-poms finish off this super cute penguin toque, just in time for winter!
