Crochet Hook - Size K-10.5 (6.5 mm)
Crochet Hook - Size I-9 for star motifs

With smaller hook and D make 24 stars. Place wrong sides of 2 stars together and sew edges together. Repeat for all pairs of stars to yield 12 stars. (After afghan body has been completed, 3 stars are attached to each of the 4 corners to complete the project.)

With larger hook, work afghan body in half double crochet (U.S.) following color chart.

Use separate balls of yarn for each section of color.

The edging is crocheted with one strand each of C and D held together..
