This pattern is being offered for free because it is more about the story and inspiration behind why I knit these.

It is a very easy pattern if you are just learning to use double pointed needles. This can also be adapted to circular knitting on 2 needles or using “Magic Loop”.

I used Unplanned Peacock’s hand dyed 100% Superwash Merino. I love this yarn, especially for children because it is machine washable…yea! It actually softens up even more after you wash it.

I want this “pattern” to inspire others to sometimes stick to the basics, let the yarn do the work and most importantly let the people you love inspire you. Enjoy!
