Wasatch Backcountry Hat
ERRATA:
I have the needle sizes in metric wrong. I apologize to the non-Americans. It should be
US#5 = 3.75 mm
US#6 = 4.00 mm
Also, when I calculated the gauge, I did it by counting only the ridges in the K1 P1 rib. I’m lazy and like to figure out the gauge as I start knitting, so that allows me to do that. I meant to mention that in the pattern and did not.
Also also, I only used size 5 DPNs because that’s what I had. Switch to those when needed.
Someday when life is not so hectic, I will adjust the actual pattern, but it seems like most of you clever people are figuring these mistakes out. Nice work. :)
Yardage is estimated. If you only use one color, you will need more than one skein of Merino Style for the size specified in the pattern.
This is a super easy knit, and it doesn’t take too long. Feel free to email with questions. I have knit a ton of these hats, though, and I think they’re cute and really comfy.
