From Interweave Knits, Fall 2000: “Pulling on your favorite sweater on the first frosty morning of fall is like welcoming back an old friend,” says Kathy Zimmerman, who designed this unisex wool-silk pullover based on the qualities the customers at her yarn shop (Kathy’s Kreations in Ligonier, Pennsylvania) seem to look for in sweaters/friends. The bold Aran braids and twists combined with the rustic tweed yarn give the pullover a casual look; the roomy proportions make it comfortable to wear, and the mock T-neck adds warmth.
