I like to think of a comfortable hoodie as one of the wardrobe essentials. Especially if it’s hand knit of course. This particular one was inspired by a beautiful hand dyed yarn. I found it fascinating how something so simple as the subtle change in color, created a clear contrast between smooth stockinette and textured reverse stockinette. The best thing is, it can be worked in any type of yarn, for example in warm wool for winter and cool cotton for summer making it perfect for any season.
The hoodie is worked in one piece from top down, beginning with the hood. The edges are finished with an i-cord button band and elbow patches add a modern look.
