These arm warmers are a simple first first Fair Isle project. The pattern becomes intuitive after a few rows and this might almost become a mindless, yet addictive, knitting project.

Though Felted Tweed is classified as a DK, to me it seems light enough to be considered a sport weight. Please make sure you make a gauge swatch in the round to determine that you have the size you want.

These arm warmers can be worn on either hand and both are made in the same way.

The sizing is done by changing needle sizes. For the size small a US size 4 (3.5mm) is used, for the medium a US size 5 (3.75mm) is used, and for the large size a US size 6 (4mm) needle is used. You may do this project on double pointed needles or with a 40” needle for the magic loop method.
