Wensleydale Tea Cosy
by Jean Moss
These quirky tea cosies are sure to brighten up teatime anywhere. Last May we took our Lakes & York knitters’ tour to the Wensleydale Longwool Sheepshop and I noticed they had their own cosies decorated with fleece. I asked Ruth and Ann if I could get some and they obligingly sent me hand-dyed colours to match each colourway. An opportunity to polish your tuck skills in simple stockinette. Medium and large sizes offer the possibility of conversion into hats, just omit the holes for the spout and handle.
The Wensleydale Longwool locks are optional.
