Wethersfield
Wethersfield is an open cardigan or fall jacket with very simple, but lovely, cables. It is worked in one piece from the bottom up, separated for the armholes and then using short row sleeve caps the sleeves are worked down. The only seaming is at the shoulders.
Finished measurements at bust: 31 (34, 37, 40, 43, 46, 49, 52, 55)”
Materials:
90% Wool/ 10% Kid Mohair by Beaverslide Dry Goods (90% merino, 10% kid mohair; 4 oz skein = approx 241 yards)
• 4 (4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6, 6) skeins Natural Brown Heather
• Approx yards: 855 (925, 1010, 1070, 1150, 1210, 1280, 1355, 1435) yards
Needles
• One 29” circular (circ) needle size US 8 (5 mm). (pc is worked flat circ needle is used to accommodate large number of sts)
• One set of double pointed needles (dpns) size US 8 (5 mm). (for sleeves)
Or size to obtain gauge.

• Stitch markers (m)
• Large stitch holders or waste yarn
Gauge: 16 sts and 24 rows = 4” in Stockinette Stitch (St st). Take time to save time, check your gauge.
