“There was not a moment to be lost: away went Alice like the wind, and was just in time to hear it say, as it turned a corner, ‘Oh, my ears and whiskers, how late it’s getting!’” – Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll

This tote was inspired by Sir John Tenniel’s illustrations of the White Rabbit. He illustrated the first edition of Alice and I’ve always loved them the most. This bag is worked in rows and then seamed up the sides later, including both color charts and written instructions. The White Rabbit panel is done with intarsia and the Red Heart panel is crocheted using stranded color work.
