This afghan is created using a reversible technique. An overlay mosaic crochet version is available here: Wicker Wonder Mosaic Afghan

Grab your favorite book and cuddle up in this wicker design afghan created in subtle earth tones. The reversible design is not as complicated as it looks. It was achieved by alternating rows of light tan and off-white, using a combination of sc and long hdc which are worked into the previous row. The long hdc are worked with one color on odd rows and the contrasting color on even rows creating the reversible effect. A length of yarn is left at each end on all the rows for the fringe. A design chart is also included for reference. Skill Level: Easy.

Finished size:
46” wide x 66” long (not including fringe).

Gauge:
Working in pattern:
10 stitches and 13 rows = 3”

Approximately 2200 yards of tan and 1800 yards of off-white are needed to complete this afghan.
