This can easily be adapted into a warmer sweater by knitting long sleeves (instructions provided!).

Sizes & Finished Measurements
Newborn (0-3 mo, 3-6 mo, 6-9 mo, 9-12 mo//12-18 mo, 2 yo 4 yo, 6 yo)

Your size’s choice should be based on finished chest measurements as you can shorten/lengthen body and sleeves length if needed. Age label is just there to give a reference. Measure your child’s chest while wearing normal clothes (or clothes intended to be worn with the cardigan) and pick a finished garment size taking in consideration the amount of ease you wish to have.

Materials
• 140 (150, 215, 225, 250//275, 325, 350, 500) yards of Worsted weight yarn or any other yarn that gives gauge (yardage is given for the short sleeves version)
• 16’’ (or bigger) circular needle and double pointed needles (DPNs) US # 7 (4.5 mm) or any size required to obtain the stockinette stitch gauge
• Other : stitch marker, stitch holders, 6 buttons (0.75-1’’)

This pattern has been tested.
Corrections have been made towards the collar size to decrease it.
