With tulips in my heart is an asymmetrical triangular shawl that can be wrapped around the neck several times. The ends are long enough to tie it with a knot. Short sides of the triangle have picot borders that knitted as you go. Simple and sweet, this shawl combines delicate heart and tulips lace motives with sections of garter stitch.

The size of the shawl is easy to adjust by working more or fewer pattern repeats.

Lace sections can be worked from written instructions or charts.

GAUGE
21 x 32 = 4” on 6 US(4 mm) both in garter stitch and lace
Exact gauge is not important for this project, it is given to get an idea of how dense knitted fabric has to be. Working in different gauge will affect the amount of yarn used and the final size of the shawl.
