Women's Peaked Cap
This peaked cap is styled on the traditional men’s driving cap or Field cap, but for women’s sizing. The yarn used can make a difference in the sizing: using an aran yarn may give you a larger man-sized cap whereas the Patons Classic Wool Worsted recommended should result in a cap that will fit anyone with a 22” size measured on an angle from the back neck, over the ears, and mid-way up the forehead. The band should be a bit too snug at first, but will relax with wearing and do a good job of blocking the wind. Other worsted weight yarns can be used provided they are soft enough to wear against the forehead.
Erratum: Total stitch count after increases should be 153.
