This fits a 6-8 cup Chemex drip coffeepot with a wood collar (rather than a handle). This is a simple stretchy 2x2 twisted rib. There is a row of decreases at the top before a round of eyelets through which braided yarn or cord can be threaded to secure the cozy below the collar. Beads add a decorative element…you can get real fancy and replace the leather cord and wood bead that comes with the collar with ones that match your cozy.
