I tried to evoke a bygone era of Hollywood divas on the red carpet. The stole is extremely warm, yet it oozes allure and femininity. Because the narrow tabs increase 200% in a few rows, it causes the top edge to roll over. This extra width at shoulder level causes the waist to look smaller and give the illusion of an hourglass figure. I would stick to natural fibre wools, otherwise you won’t get the same drape without the weight.

You can wear it many ways but I intended it to be worn doubled in front and pinned. My version will comfortably wrap double across 34”-38” busts. You can of course knit the main body shorter or longer.
