This pattern only uses a slip knot, chain stitch, slip stitch & single crochet! That’s why it’s the simplest little heart pattern in the world!

No magic circle, no crocheting in the round, no half-doubles or doubles or triples!

I used cotton worsted weight yarn and a G/6-4.25mm hook for the examples in the photos.

I’ve had a hard time with heart shapes since I started crocheting. I came up with this pattern purely by accident, while trying to make a different embellishment from scratch.

I’ve tried the pattern several times now and it works! I can make hearts all over the place, I’m so excited!
