This is a simple pattern for a cabled coffee cup cozy. It is a stretchy tube designed to fit cardboard or paper takeaway cups, like the one pictured. Anyone who can cable or can learn to cable can knit this! It is knitted flat and sewed up at the end. Gauge is not important for this project, and you could use worsted weight yarn or chunky yarn. It doesn’t take much yarn either (about thirty yards each), so the XOXO Cabled Coffee Cozy is perfect for keeping your yarn stash in check.

This pattern is listed for chunky yarn, but the yarn I used was on the thinner side of chunky in my opinion and it might do better with a worsted weight yarn. Enjoy!
