Inspired by “You’ll Never Walk Alone” from the musical Carousel this pattern uses a combination of puff stitches combined with some interplay between the colors using post stitches. The puff stitch represents the bumps in the road life tends to throw our way, and the post stitches represent that much needed support we have to negotiate those bumps. Gauge is not specific for this project, but you should end up with approximately a 9.5 inch square. This project could easily be made into a scarf or shawl with a few alterations to stitch counts and length.
