Finished Size 37 1/4 (41 1/2, 45 3/4, 50, 54)“ bust circumference. Cardigan shown measures 37 1/4”, modeled with 2 3/4” of positive ease.
Yarn Universal Yarn Nettle Lana (70% organic wool, 30% nettle; 98 yd 90 m/1 3/4 oz 50 g): #109 linen, 11 (12, 14, 15, 17) balls.
Needle Sizes 5 (3.75 mm) and 7 (4.5 mm): 24–47” circular (cir), depending on size you are making, and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle; two 5/8” buttons.
Gauge 19 sts and 27 rows = 4” in body patt on larger needle.
A wide and wavy lace in a papery nettle blend creates the Zephirine Cardigan. Gently rolling edges, an A-line shape, and front edges that fall away create an easy grace that emphasizes the beauty of the yoke.
