The Wool Project is more than just a pattern collection. It’s a catalyst to spark your journey of exploration through the wonders of wool.

Each of the original six accessory patterns in The Wool Project was chosen to showcase a particular breed-specific wool yarn; to give knitters a taste of the distinct characteristics of each sheep’s fleece transformed into a beautiful skein of yarn. The Wool Project highlights the sheep, farmers and makers behind each yarn with the hope of opening eyes to their unique stories.

In this collection you will find a bit of something for everyone. The designs include cables, lace, color work, texture, color and wooly warmth. The Wool Project eBook also includes extra, detailed information about the sheep breed and yarn chosen for each pattern, as well as beautiful original pencil sketches of each breed.

I will be continuing to add patterns designed with breed specific or single origin wool yarns to The Wool Project as I have time and inspiration, so stay tuned!
