Notes

Shooting for a DK weight. Probably a two ply. Loosely spun and then loosely plied. Don’t want it to feel like wire, but do want some sheen to the finished yarn. This fiber is beautiful!!!

Over 300 grams so far and another skein almost off the wheel. I will need to check the yardage I need for the vest pattern. I think I will keep carding and spinning, though. I’m sure I can think of something else to do with this. The felt from this wool is also gorgeous. So that is a possibility for a vest for myself.

Counted up yardage today. I have a total of 849 yards and 605 grams (1 lb, 5.3 oz.) I have a couple more batts that are ready to spin. Once those are spun I should have enough. Pattern calls for 980 yards.
