05.08.13 - Starting the stash page now, but it’s not plied yet…just wanted to get a head-start, and give this one a place. :)

05.15.13 - First spindle-full plied (65g), skeined, soaked and snapped. I’ll measure WPI when it’s dry. :)

05.16.13 - So, it’s dry. I’ve measured ~21wpi, and a total of 267yds on the 65g skein (still plying the last 52g), so I assume that I will have around 480 yards total. The WPI scales are mocking me…fingering weight is listed at anywhere from 14-24wpi…seriously?!? C’mon, people! So, I’m going to do a bit more research…

05.24.13 - One of the things I’m learning, as I learn more about handspinning, is that my yarn (even if it’s not perfect) is forever stamped with my signature, so to speak. It’s uniquely mine, and it will never look or act entirely like your yarn, or like anything millspun. And you know what? Yay for that! There is a LOT of millspun yarn to be had out there, but if I’m going to the trouble to spin my own yarn, it SHOULD be special…and it is!
