with my gauge: 6 st = 1” in stockinette and US2½ needles, brim measures 11” wich is a preemie size, (30 WA).

so I should go on knitting in pattern until 3.9” (height= 35% width)

I made my 8 st i-cords separately top down, and assemblied them to the live stitches of the hat afterwards with kitchener stitch: this is much more comfortable ;)
