This excepted, ( and also excepted the mysterious way the bootie is supposed to be closed ) this pattern is awesome.

I worked it in the round, of course.

1. As I didn’t like the sole in stockinette I used this one (Petit Peter Pan ) which I liked best and finished nearly with the required number of stitches.
