• Picking up 217 st was not for me so I began with JMCO 217 st onto 2 circular needles, one size 3mm and one size 6mm.
• Worked the garter section with 6mm needles, leaving live stitches on the other needle to wait.
• I wrapped before turning for short rows although it was not written in the pattern.
• I followed the pattern until I had 150 st for 1 short row; then I k 1 more st every row instead of 3 to heighten the shawl.
• I made a 3st i-cord BO
• Then I did the Mousseux border over my 217 live stitches waiting on the 3mm needle; with my 6mm needle BUT I did 1 more SSK before each CO 2 st

Final measurements:
before blocking : 160 x 30 cm (63” x 12”)
after : 185 x 40 cm (73” x 15¾“)
