It’s longer than I expected despite I knitted only 17 repeats of chart C
21/01/14 Yippee! It’s done! Very happy with the shawl! I finished it off with crochet hook as I didn’t get the final loops loose enough with knitting needles.
The pattern is really clear and well written.
12 gr. of yarn for charts A+B.
42 gr. of yarn for one wing.
Total 96 gr. (12+42+42)
I’ll block it tomorrow and take photos over the weekend.
13/01/14 I’m finished first half of the shawl on 10th Jan. Didn’t manage to knit loose enough loops, so I decided to finish off with crochet hook. For centre motif and first half of the shawl 52 grams of yarn is used up.
Picked up stitches for second half of the shawl and progressing on it now.
03/01/14 After completing two repeats of chart C it’s visible that my shawl will be wider than the pattern states. Happy with that!
28/12/13 Finally the yarn arrived (xmas!). So I can cast on tonight. I will use charts, not written instructions and I do not add beads.
21/12/13 I will use Drops Lace for the shawl. Just waiting for the yarn to arrive.
