Done with the knitting, washing and even cutting yarn for tassels. Just waiting for the scarf to dry. It’s insanely long, and I feel a bit embarassed to have made such a thing. Well, just a tiny little bit.

So, finally I am able to write a few words about this one. It’s a scarf for four, one meter for each. The idea comes from the album HELP by the Beatles. There is that photo on the back of the album booklet, where the Fab Four are posing and looking at another photograph, and the four of them are wearing striped scarves. The withe and red is so impactful on the all black garments, and at first sight, it looks like there is one single but very long scarf. When you look carefully then, you can see it’s not the case, there must be three actually.
But I just loved that idea, one scarf for all. So I chose two contrasting colors, inspired by the red and white, but quite muted, less “soccer team”, and made that long, dreamed scarf, that could have kept four boys warm.
Obertauern is the austrian ski station where the photo was taken.
