If you are in need of short-rows practice then this pattern is for you. It’s got a lot, a lot, a lot of short-rows!!!

Third times lucky!! I misunderstood and messed up my short rows;
Do not count the slip sts of the short rows, so I don’t get a U shape!!!

I’ve followed the direction for small hat. It is still an adult hat because my yarns are DK and my hooks are bigger.

Hat 1 - Tangerine - 6th
Knook hook 4mm
Need a tail of 72” then I’ve used Eunny’s cast-on.
8 rounds then short rows.
Knooking Rib - knit stitches are in Eastern and the purl stitches are in LA. Now I got crisp columns.

Knitting wrap-turn short rows
knit short rows without wrapping.

Hat 2 - Blue & White Acrylic DK - 7th - 8th
Knook hook 4mm
I completed this one yesterday then realise that the tilt was on the wrong side!! frog, ggrrrrrr!!!

5 rounds then join to 1st hat.
Make sure that the tilt is on the wider side of 1st hat.

Hat 3 - Green Acrylic DK - 9th - 11th
Knook hook 5mm
I love the cable-work but tricky short rows!

Hat 4 - Multicolour - 12th
Knook hook 4mm
This section seem to be longer!!

Hat 5 - Dark Blue. Band in White/Red - 12th - 13th @ 2.30 am!!
Knook Hook 4mm
I just had to complete the hat for my dressing-up day at work. So no bed until I finished ^_^
What a marathon!
I even knook the wave pattern!

I absolutely love my hat and received a lot of compliments from the Customers and Staffs. Some really thought it was 5 hats! :)

Potterwatch - Post 1949
Craft something that could be used to pass along a secret message or to warn someone of danger.

Harry Potter learnt that he can free Dobby by tricking his Master into giving Dobby his sock.
Later on Hermione attempt to free all Elfs in Hogwarts by knitting a lot of hats and scarfs for them. But the Elfs were insulted, except Dobby who wore a stack of Hermione’s hats on his head to show his freedom.

I wore my stack of hats at work today to tell my Boss that I was a free Elf too and will only work for money!
