Notes

This a a very simple pattern but the yarn is a PITA to work with. I ended up going up to a P hook (11.50 mm) because the yarn made it difficult to see the stitches. I used sky blue and seaspray which turned out really pretty. Seaspray is a the color of green cotten candy with the same sky blue mixed in. When I finished, I ended with the top strip green and the bottom stripe blue…..or vise versa so I used my scrap yarn to add a simple border matching the color of the stripe. I didn’t want to go all the way around because 1. I didn’t have enough of either color and 2. I didn’t really want to box in my stripes. It looks great like it is. My border is just a simple repeats of slip, single, double-chain 2 double, single, slip…. PLEASE NOTE: Tie your ends off well! After I ran it through the washer the ends slipped out and started to unravel. Like I said, the yarn is a PITA! I probably wont ever use it again.
