This was really enjoyable to knit. The kit from Saara Publishing contains necessary yarns for the pattern and one set of needles. The yarns are beautifully dyed. Thickness of the yarn varies quite lot, but that’s typical (and necessary) for estonian knitting, the end result will be variegated.

Instructions in the pattern are clear and precise. Only slightly confusing part is with Chart E where pattern repeat is 20 sts but you have 112 sts on round. In Muhu gloves and stockings the pattern repeats do not need to match the stitch count, so do not be alarmed about it. This was the first time I’ve knitted gloves, so good instructions how to do fingers were necessary and I think I did pretty well.

I learned to throw the pattern yarn from the right index finger with this project (usually I knit with yarn in left index finger) so I’m not completely happy with the gauge.

There was plenty of left over yarn. I definitely recommend this pattern and yarn kit for knitters who want a challenge and awesome end result to wear.
