Adapting to Stylecraft
Knit Picks - Stylecraft
A Celestial - Royal or lobelia decided Royal
B Marina - Turquoise
C Tranquil - Aspen
D Alfalfa - grass green rather than spring green
E Canary - Citron
F Caution - Sunshine
G Orange - Spice rather than jaffa
H Red - Lipstick
I Rouge - Fuschia purple rather than fondant
J Fairy Tale - consider Boysenberry,magenta, violet
or plum. Might even buy a different brand of purple, I know the shade I want and Stylecraft don’t do it - found one in my stash, Aldi Kirkton House.
Considered making it all in one this time. I know these means that the diagonals run the opposite way but it’s still a good effect. Having said that, I am perfectly fine at seaming the quadrants together and it does make it more portable.

Salina has an interesting tip about putting the last single stitch on a holder and picking it up later.

April 2018- I left this aside for a long time while I worked on other things. Finally finished all the quadrants and, foolishly, I had left all the ends. I normally weave them in as I go. Anyhow, I wove them all in while watching a mix of project runway, bones, only fools and horses and Shakespeare and Hathaway. Yes, that’s how long, it took.
I am looking forward to knitting the border, but not to seaming the quadrants together. If I ever make a seventh hue shift, I will do it all in one.
