March, 2014 Two and a half years of being dragged everywhere and washed a multitude of times and the blankie is still hanging in. So happy that it is so well loved. My granddaughter does not sleep without it.

I am not 100% satisfied with my job of sewing the binding on, but it works. I’m happy with the finished blanket.

I am using @64 stitches per square. I am knitting them together as I go because seaming these is not something I was looking forward to. I am really liking how it’s turning out so far! I plan on backing it in a lightweight microfiber blanket cloth and edging it in rainbow coloured satin blanket edging.
