Making another one of these sweaters, for my daughter again. Last winter I made one and it was just too small… she grew out of it before winter was over, even though I made the 3-5 size, and she was only 3 (she is a small kid too) so I am making a bigger one this time…. Fingers crossed!

Okay, in the midst of knitting this, I realized through watching a video, that I normally knit through the back of the loops! WHO KNEW?! So I didn’t want to keep doing it that way and I ended up changing my knitting through the middle of the project. My hands are not even close to being sore now :) To think all of the hassle and pain that I could have saved! Oh and I can knit faster the “right way” now too! lol

Well I have started the first sleeve and been riding in the car for an hour, with it nearly finished!

So I lost my motivation for a few days. I FO’d the first sleeve and left the sweater in my knitting/yarn basket for a few days…. I actually thought about hibernating this project forever! lol I couldn’t waste that yarn though, and I couldn’t let my 4y/o down when I promised to make it for her! Done done done! Now onto making a long sleeved one for my son, less to NO frilly-ness!
