2014-04-29: Flower panel complete. Assembly of panels should come next, but I just noticed that my chevron panel is a few rows short so I’m going to fix that. Also, having laid the panels out on my bed, I’m wondering whether another panel needs to be added before adding an edging. I’m thinking of a 6” star-shell panel, which I’m eager to try anyway.

2014-05-06: Added a 6” star shell panel, and then a border in the light gray. I had hoped to make a SC border around the edge in the hot pink, but ran short. Frogged it, and then tried a sl st edging, but again ran short by 6 frikkin’ inches. There’s no way I’m paying another $9 for a ball of yarn just to do that. I may yet look through my stash to see if there’s anything I can use to get the final look I was going for. DD is delighted with it the way it is.
