I feel ridiculously pleased with myself that I managed to get going with this project. I’m not a confident crocheter, and this is the first time in ages that I’ve followed a crochet pattern.

I had a sudden spurt of progress on this, and now all I need to do is to embroider the face. I’ve had a couple of goes, but I’m not happy with it yet, so I’ll try again tonight. Fingers crossed this will be ready for a friend’s new baby shortly. :)

All done! I really got into making Emma this time round, and I’m very tempted to cast on for another before I forget how to do it!!
