I had 2 gift requests for more “natural” looking giraffes using the same body shape as the Striped Crochet Giraffe by Emma Dent. I browsed through other FO’s and really liked how DeniseMarieKs turned out and also saw that she used a “less sewing” method which was really helpful! The giraffe ended up being less tedious by crocheting the legs, arms, ears and horns right in.

I found that I preferred the ear if the final round was worked as “dec 6 times, 6 sc”. It pulls one side in (making that thethe inner side) giving it a nicer shape/curve.
