Original Diamond Granny Square

Had an idea for a purse in my head and I wanted a granny square that was a bit more interesting but would look nice with this weight of yarn. I love this little square!! It works up quickly and really fits the shape of a square (ie. won’t need much, if any, blocking.)

Modified Diamond Granny Half-Square

I’ll need a few half-squares so I modified the pattern accordingly and attached my chart of the modified square in case anyone else would like to use it.
