Began these cabled mittens for a lovely friend.

Using my 8 inch circulars

Cast on 52 sts
Knit 25 rows for cuff instead of 15
Made the first repeat with row 8 same as row 1 to add length (no increasing). Added one repeat of cabling at the top for length.7 rows of 2x2 ribbing at the top.

March 23: Finished first mitten, and they look nice in this yarn for sure. Began second one today

March 25: finished both mittens. Very pleased.
Took only 31 grams of Malabrigo sock to make these.

Recipient is very happy with the mittens
