Love these socks! The pattern is very easy to memorize once you get a repeat or two of it done. The cables do make for slightly tighter socks, though. If I were to make them again, I’d probably go up a needle size. But they’re definitely wearable for me, since I’m definitely not frogging them! And I’m a big fan of the Hawthorne yarn. I’m waiting for Knit Picks to finally re-stock it so I can try a couple more colorways.

WARNING - this yarn will bleed colors. Even after 1 washing, they gave me smurf feet. After a second wash, several rinses, and a vinegar bath, it is finally holding color. So if you use Knit Picks Hawthorne, you definitely will want to rinse with vinegar before wearing… unless you like technicolor feet!

Grrr… Started with a different pattern, but the sizing was way too big. Frogged and revisited pattern ideas, and I think I like this one a bit better.
