Notes

March 1: I’m forcing myself to spend time knitting with fingering since I … well, I just hate it! I’m an instant-gratification kinda girl and working with worsted brings me joy. It takes so darn long to get something finished in fingering. I can’t even begin to fathom how folks can work with size 0-1-2-3 oh, my hands ache just thinking about those toothpicky needles! But alas, I know I must move past this silly prejudice and just enjoy the process. :-)

March 19: Gotten to the last row of the pattern with quite a bit of yarn left over. Looking for a different edge to finish of the project that will use up all my yarn. The thin yarn hasn’t been as torturous as I’d expected -- maybe I’ll try a size 4 needle next time! I decided to use up every scrap of yarn so I added a few rows of garter, upsizing the needle every other row. Then crochet edged the entire piece. Now to block and wear …
