This pattern is inspired by the jaywalker sock pattern from Knitty.com. I used the same stitch idea, added some yo’s and modified it into a cowl. The cowl will have real button holes and buttons so that it can put it on and off with out messin’ up your hair! I named the pattern Pedestrian Crossing Cowl because it was knit for my son’s teacher and she’s working with him to follow the rules. :)
